Spring is here again and…
I’m getting that itch again to start taking everything apart in my house. I am throwing stuff out like nobodies business and am kind of afraid I may get rid of things I may want later.
That reminds me of the times I never threw anything away. I just knew that I may want it again at some point.
I didn’t think that the odds are if I haven’t used it for 4 or 5 years or even longer, it probably wouldn’t ever come in handy again.
That fear of letting it go kept me paralyzed from moving forward with my de-cluttering and not just in my home but in the other areas of my life.
This reminds me so much of the negative emotions, memories, and beliefs we collect and keep over time. It’s hard to let go of those things as well.
But why would we want to keep all that weight on our shoulders? Some memories are so old and useless that they sit in the deepest parts of our mind only creating more stress…
Even worse they cause us to dig up bad memories from our past and relive them over and over again. I’m sure you can think of a memory that still has the ability to make you sad, angry or frustrated to this day.
That’s NOT good!
In fact, I posted a whole blog post on Thehealingcodes.com website on this topic. It’s called Spring Cleaning From The Inside Out and I would love for you to read it HERE.
Start your Spring Cleaning now.
I would like you to look at these unneeded emotional issues just like you would the items you no longer need in your home.
Time for remodel
Years go by and styles change and it feels so good to remodel and stay current, doesn’t it?
Just like doing maintenance and cleaning in your home you need to update, organize and release the unwanted beliefs and thought patterns you’ve held onto for way too long.
Here is a simple way to get started.
Address each area of your life one category at a time. Think about what you would like to change, let go of, or fix and make better.
There is always room for improvements.
When you look deeper at these issues, you can see how they can create stress in your life.
Relationships
Think about those people in your life and how those relationships are working. Is it one-sided or give and take? If it’s one-sided then, how does that make you feel? Resentful, unloved or unimportant? You see those are everyday feelings that pile up and at some point need to be addressed and cleared out. It may be as simple as having a conversation and stating your feelings. But the sooner you address it the better you will feel.
Other things you could ask are
Are you being treated kindly? Are you giving your all to that special someone? How can you improve on this?
Health
Are you having issues in this department? What are they? Are you doing everything you can to improve it? Are you eating right, drinking plenty of water and exercising? Do you give yourself time to relax or meditate?
When you don’t do what is right for yourself you can feel guilty. Again by addressing these areas you can move forward and lift some emotional burden off of yourself.
Business
Are you giving the best you can to your clients? Are you keeping your records organized? Do you feel good about what you are doing in this department?
For instance, if you aren’t staying organized in this area you could feel the pressure and stress which can cause a lot of anxiety.
You could use some even deeper cleaning in all these areas.
If these are patterns you have struggled with your whole life you may want to explore your past and why they started in the first place.
Sometimes we pick up patterns from our parents and we implement them without even realizing it. Just because you have that pattern today doesn’t mean it has to continue.
There are many techniques that can help with this kind of programming. Using the right tools like The Healing Codes can neutralize these issues. You can go even deeper and have a custom healing code created for you by a practitioner. I am a certified Healing Codes coach and would like to help.
I love to find the reasons behind what we do… and honestly, I’m very good at that. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the people I care about unload the burden of old useless patterns. If you would like some help to remember I am only an email away HERE.
My hope is that you will start clearing out and organizing your life on all levels. It can make the difference in having a peaceful home from the inside out.
So true Melissa. It’s our inner closet that’s most in need of spring cleaning. Not only at springtime either. An ongoing checking in of where we are, how we feel and how in harmony our actions and feelings are makes it soooo much easier to live in the flow of life and experience the most meaningful and joyful life.
Absolutely Elle! Putting ourselves on an ongoing maintenance program is huge. Just like our homes need that weekly sprucing up so does our hearts.
Thanks for being here ;-)and being YOU!!!
