Many times when you are on the healing path you find yourself stuck.
Does this sound like you?
You have found a great tool to help clear your blocks to your health, success or relationship issues and you’re moving forward faster than you have ever been able to before.
Then all of the sudden it all seems to just stop. No movement at all.
First, you may feel like you are doing something wrong, so to compensate for that you work even harder, pushing yourself to the extreme.
If new good results arenβt found, frustration can set in and even anger and feelings of unfairness.
You may question yourself. Why isnβt this working when you are doing everything right?
After a period of time, you may feel yourself dropping even more and hopelessness washes over you making you feel so weighed down you can barely get anything done.
I can say Iβve been there and itβs no fun. That feeling of discouragement, frustration, and hopelessness really took me down at times.
I was so glad to have people around me that could guide me and help encourage me to continue to move forward, even if it felt like it was only a crawl at times.
6 helpful tips to break those blocks
I want to share with you a few things that I did that really helped during those periods.
1. Let Go
I know that may seem a little counterproductive but it is absolutely the most important thing you can do. By pushing harder you are actually holding onto the very thing you are trying to let go of. You have heard the saying, βWhat you Resist Persists.β Well, that is what pushing does. It makes more resistance.
[Tweet “What you resist, persists” ~ Carl Jung”]
2. Give yourself some TLC.
Ease your way on. Do it light to make it relaxing. Find new ways to keep yourself going. Get a massage or take a yoga class, anything that sounds fun and light. A big sudsy bath is enough to help me through some of the hardest times.
3. Take a day off.
When I use The Healing Codes or any type of great energy work, I will sometimes feel what is called a healing response. Itβs when I have done some great work and now being flooded with too much old βstuffβ trying to leave at once.Β What I recommend to many people is to either do wayyyy less for a day or two or take a day off completely. That way you give your body and mind a chance to catch up. Drink lotβs of water and getting some mild exercise really helps as well.
4. Just play.Β
It’s time to forget all your problems and try something new, something fun. Maybe itβs a new fun project or even just planning a get together with some friends. Anything that will take your mind off you and your issues. You need a break every now and then. This actually takes the pressure off and letβs all that βease’ move you along a lot faster.
5. Help others.
Some of the most incredible healing Iβve seen is when you turn your efforts onto someone else. At times I will do The Healing Codes for another person without even working on myself at all. I have had some of the biggest shifts without even trying at those times.Β Itβs part of the letting go thing. Try it and see how it feels to you.
6. Expectations are Blocks.
Donβt keep looking for results. This has the ability to slow you down faster than anything else I have seen. Let go of those expectations and just accept whatever good is coming your way.Β ANY GOOD leads to more good. Just enjoy the ride and know that everything happens at the perfect time. Usually, we end up on these detours to learn new things for even greater healing than we could ask for.

I think the hardest one for me and most people is letting yourself play. I am slowly starting to allow myself this daily once I get my work done and I have to say that it boosts your health immensely.
I’d say writing out gratitude lists is very helpful for me. If you are always ungrateful then you will always be unhappy.
Hi Sebastion,
Yes I agree play time is a must. I love photography but many times get caught up in my work and it just doesn’t happen. This evening I’m heading out and just doing it! I feel so great when I’m done.
Gratitude is a must for me. It is amazing when feeling down how quickly you can lift yourself up with some gratefulness.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great rest of the week π
Nice. I hope you had a great time going out.
That is true. I will. I hope you have an awesome rest of your week too.
Hi, great post! I guess everybody goes through the process of feeling stuck and the ways you mentioned can help us move forward and is truly worth it. I’d say keep yourself open to new ideas, try something a little different. Thanks for sharing . π
That’s great advice Lynne,
Thanks for sharing. Having an open mind is so important and I wouldn’t be where I’m at now without it.
Thanks for visiting π
Loved the comment about gratitude. I read this week that when you are writing down 10 things you are grateful for, your brain actually starts to search it’s memory cells and creates new and stronger neural networks to our positive memories and experiences. Ten was important, to keep your brain engaged for a while, and it’s important to make it a solid habit. I (try) to write them down every evening and have starting doing it when driving too; it keeps my mind of the stuff I need to let go of AND t’s like a mental game. It’s a good way to both take a break and “play”.
I Love that Kimberlee!
I like to add the positive to the prayer/intention before doing my Healing Code as well. It just drives it in even deeper. It really works. I ask for what I want to clear or heal then I ask for that final result. It magnifies everything… Love it!
Thanks for being here. I’m a bit behind on this post π
This was especially helpful! I’ve been this way for a LONG TIME. I have tried to help other by participating in an awareness campaign about Dystonia. All my preparation for interviews & being on TV has inspired me to write another book, Life After Dystonia”. I don’t
Really have money to self-publish another book & I’m not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions?
Hi Libby,
So good to hear from you! That’s great about your book. I still cherish the first one you sent me π I will ask around and see if anyone in my circles have info on that and get back to you. You have the ability to inspire so many. Keep it up!
Thanks for sharing here.
Great tips. On my end what I do is I pray, have some alone time and surround myself with family and friends. Thanks for sharing.
