Our hike this morning was awesome! I get so charged up when I can get out and breath that fresh mountain air. I keep asking myself why we don’t do it more often. It’s convenient, free and the scenery is great, so what’s the deal?
When we got home I had such a relaxed and accomplished feeling. Don’t get me wrong, I workout every day, but it’s at a gym and I start feeling like I’m on a hamster wheel, doing the same old thing. Switching out your routine by doing something different like hiking, swimming or biking helps keep you in better shape. It also works different muscles so you can remain in shape easier. If you are trying to lose weight, changing your routine can catapult you out of a plateau.
Hitting a Plateau
This is very much the same with The Healing Codes. Some people keep working on the same issues. They find the category that best fits their problem and remains working in that area without changing.
The truth is every issue has many angles to it. For instance, if you are having a problem with anger at someone, you may gravitate toward the patience category. In the beginning, you might have made great strides in reducing your anger but then hit a plateau. You continued to work in the Patience category without much improvement, but why?
Finding New Aspects
This is where you need to find a new aspect. Sometimes underneath the anger is a whole different layer. It could be sadness or even depression that would now need to be worked on. The anger was created for a reason. It may have been protecting you from falling into that deep pit of depression, that many people have a hard time climbing out of.
So now that you’ve found the feelings of sadness and depression, you would move to the Joy category and work there for a while. You may need to continue alternating between categories until all aspects are found. Over this time you usually notice that your anger problem is decreasing until it is totally resolved.
You see it isn’t much different than your fitness routine. It’s necessary to switch things up to remain balanced and healthy.
I know this can all sound a bit overwhelming. Just like getting help from a personal trainer with your fitness, using a Healing Codes Coach will make it easier for you to create a plan and stick to it as well. I’m here to help if you need it, just ask. HELP IS HERE.
