Oh These Roads We Travel
Many times throughout our lives we find ourselves on roads we would rather not be on.
Sometimes we travel on it with pain, like a grief or a loss.
Other times anger may try to pull us off the road, distracting us from our end goals.
The truth is we will always be traveling a road of some kind. It will change from year to year and many times minute to minute.
How we travel on that road is up to us.
We are the drivers, the navigators, the GPS system and even the satellites of our lives.
We have the ability to drive unconsciously, with no thoughts, on autopilot….
Or
We can choose to travel consciously.
Let’s be mindful of what we learn on this journey and take something positive from it’s every single curve and bend, on even the bumpiest of roads.
We can learn how to glide over the hard times and recover from anything jumping out suddenly in our way.
It’s our choice to choose to navigate these roads with an open clear mind, living in the present.

I realize that life can be hard, I’ve been there too. It can break your heart and it can disappoint you beyond words at times.
But
Around that bend in the road, is another chance to find your peace and happiness. So hang in there and try looking at what’s around you while traveling.
Even the stormiest of nights carry the most beautiful light, sounds, and excitement.Â
Take in the magic of those moments and choose to move forward, with the expectations of more beauty to come.
We have so many more roads to travel in this life. Let’s learn to enjoy and appreciate what they have to offer.
If you find yourself stuck at some point and not able to move forward, remember I am here to help. We can easily navigate you to a more peaceful place. I will help coach you through, to a smoother easier road.
Choosing to change is one simple Custom Healing Code away. Giving it a try could completely change your life.
Love to you all!
I love how we are built – experience strengthens our subconscious response. Even though we have a choice, there are times when we falter and feel compelled to take the beaten path.
As a sales trainer, during our selling skills training module, we taught conscious competence and subconscious competence – and used driving as an analogy.
Loved the post, Melissa!

Lovely Vidya,
Our subconscious has so much more to do with all of this and sometimes isn’t given credit. I believe that is where the biggest healing is and where all the roots reside.
Thanks for stopping by!

I like the metaphor you use in this post, Melissa. To me, my journey became a lot less painful, and a lot less uncomfortable when I learned how to dance not just in the rain, but in the middle of a storm as well… When I stopped hating the inconvenient weather, and when I started to rely on the sunshine that may not always be in the sky, but that is always in my heart. Then even thunders and lightnings stopped being so threatening. All my life, all I ever needed to heal, could be summarized in one word: ACCEPTANCE. I learned that love and acceptance are the same thing. <3
Beautifully said Elzbieta! You are so right! I can feel the emotion you are expressing. Our perceptions on what is the bad or good is totally an individual thing. The beauty is we can change that perception within, as you did… Thanks for your insight.

“Take in the magic of those moments and choose to move forward, with the expectations of more beauty to come.” – Lovely Melissa, just lovely.
Thanks Elle,
As always, I love your insight and beautiful words. Thanks for being here!

So true. Deciding who we are going to be traveling any path we find ourselves on is true empowerment. Bad situations are still tough to go through but we can still determine how we move through them.
